The Air Jordan 16 Retro is set to return with a one-off release in early November. Or so we thought. It turns out that Jordan Brand has a few surprises planned for the first official retro run of Michael Jordan's sixteenth signature sneaker.
Marcus Jordan, Michael Jordan's son and owner of the Trophy Room store in Orlando, Florida began teasing fans about his next exclusive Air Jordan release via his personal Twitter account a few weeks back. While he did not mention what model it was or the colorway, he did reveal that they will be available exclusively in-store at Trophy Room with each pair individually numbered and their release date.
I can inform you that the sneaker will be an all-new colorway of the Air Jordan 16 Retro, coming in all-French Blue. They will retail for $275 and will drop on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at Trophy Room.
While no images exist at this time, Sneakerskus cooked up some quick renderings on what the sneaker might look like, with a photoshop based off the unreleased Air Jordan 16 Retro sample from the "Rainbow" Collection.
If you're interested in picking up the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 16 Retro when they release, start planning your trip to Orlando now. Those of you who can't wait can try your luck on eBay here.
