The Nike Air Griffey Max 1 makes its 2016 debut tomorrow.
In celebration of Ken Griffey Jr. getting elected to the 2016 Class of the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Nike Sportswear is set to bring back his first signature sneaker, the Air Griffey Max 1. Kicking things off for this special retro run is the original "Emerald" or "Fresh Water" colorway, last seen in 2009.
They come in a Seattle Mariners-themed fresh water, white, black and varsity red colorway. Featuring a black-based nubuck upper with fresh water and white accents along with small hits of red. Custom insoles featuring "24ever" branding honor Griffey's hall of fame career.
A general release, look out for them at select Nike accounts worldwide on Thursday, April 21st, 2016. Retail is set at, $150.
