You read that right, you have a one-in-a-lifetime shot to grab an Air Jordan Kobe Bryant PE!
When Kobe Bryant became a sneaker free agent in 2003 after leaving adidas, Bryant laced up quite a few amazing sneakers before signing with Nike for the long haul. Jordan Brand even hooked him up with some of the best player exclusives out there, for the AJ 3, AJ 7, AJ 8 and AJ 9. Rarely do you ever come across any, and the chances of one available for purchase is slim to none.
Jordan Brand honored Kobe earlier this year with special collections of Air Jordans 1 through 30, including his coveted AJ 3 and AJ 8 PE's in "Home" and "Away" renderings. While his "Home" pairs are scheduled for a limited drop in a special pack later this year, today the door has been blown wide up for people looking to add this unicorn, or holy grail to their sneaker collection.
A rare promo pair of Bryant's Air Jordan 8 Retro is up on the auction block. What's even more elusive is that this pair is a size 11, made for one of Kobe Bryant's closest friends and is the only size 11 in existence. All other pairs are either in Bryant's size 14 or a sample size 9. This pair is also completely deadstock and comes in an un-labeled Jordan box.
