After making the announcement that a Player Exclusive-themed Air Jordan Kobe Pack was on its way in January, today we can exclusively tell you that Jordan Brand has more in-store for us in 2016.
While we still await a release date on the Pack which features PE editions of the Air Jordan 3 Retro and Air Jordan 8 Retro, we can get a head start on planning for the holidays. Along with the remastered return of the original white, black and red colorway, Kobe Bryant's Air Jordan 9 Retro player exclusive is officially set to release.
They come in a Lakers-themed white, concord and tour yellow colorway and feature a white-based leather upper with purple patent leather and chrome eyelets. Tour yellow accents the branding throughout while a white sole finishes things off. No word yet if they will feature the number "8" on the back like the samples, "24" to represent Kobe's current jersey number or the traditional number "23."
While an official release date is not set at this time, expect to see the "Kobe Bryant PE" Air Jordan 9 Retro release in November at select Jordan Brand retailers. The good news is they will be a general release available in full-family sizing from men down to toddler with men's sizes retailing for, $190.
Keep it locked to our Release Dates section as well as our official Instagram page @ajordanxi for more information on the Air Jordan 9 Retro "Kobe Bryant PE" as it becomes available. If you're interested in adding them to your collection now you can, grab them from eBay here.
