Jordan Brand Unveils The Jordan Brand Classic 2013 Collection

The 2013 Jordan Brand Classic will take place in April and the players will be lacing up exclusive colorways of the Air Jordan XX8.
The 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic is almost here. It will take place on Saturday, April 13th, 2013 at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. This year the top 22 basketball prospects from around the country will showcase their skills on the court before heading off to begin their NCAA careers next season. Players will be lacing up the Air Jordan XX8 in two player exclusive colorways made just for this event.

Both colorways feature a fractcal Elephant Print pattern on the upper and sit on an icy blue translucent outsole. First, we have the "East" edition. Made to match the "East" uniforms, this pair comes in a black, white and metallic gold. Next, we have the "West" edition. Made to match the "West" uniforms, this pair comes in a red, metallic gold and black. At this time neither pair is set to release unlike the previous few years and, they will indeed be unreleased player exclusive colorways made just for the Jordan Brand Classic. However, if that changes, I will be sure to make an update and let everyone know.

Here's the official word from Jordan Brand:

"Today, Jordan Brand announces the complete National and Regional rosters for the 12th annual Jordan Brand Classic, taking place on April 13 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
