Jordan Brand XX8 Days Of Flight: Air Jordan XVIII

Today, we take a look back at the Air Jordan XVIII as we continue on with the Jordan XX8 Days Of Flight.
Originally released in 2003, the Air Jordan XVIII was the last signature shoe worn on the court by Michael Jordan during his final season playing with the Washington Wizards. They were also the last model to release in Wizard's inspired colorways as the Air Jordan XIX went back to their original Chicago Bulls-inspired roots. The first colorway, black and sport royal featured an all suede upper and, the XVIII was the first basketball shoe to feature a one piece upper. Here is what Jordan Brand had to say about the Air Jordan XVIII:

"The Air Jordan XVIII was the first Air Jordan to include a one-piece upper, a carbon fiber Comfort Control Plate and dual-layer Zoom Air cushioning. Inspired by high performance cars, a “driver’s manual” was included for its owners. Wear your ‘eighteens’ for Day 18 of XX8 Days Of Flight."

It has been ten years now since the Air Jordan XVIII was originally released. Since then, only one Air Jordan 18 Retro has been released, in 2008s Air Jordan 5/18 Collezione "Countdown" Pack. As of right now, their are no plans for an Air Jordan 18 Retro return at this time. However, if things do change, I will sure to let everyone know. Be sure to check the 2013 Release Dates section as it is updated once information becomes available.

For now, enjoy the images below of this sample black and volt green colorway of the Air Jordan XVIII made exclusively to celebrate the Jordan XX8 Days Of Flight Collection. Be sure to check out my Twitter @ajordanxi and Instagram @ajordanxi as I have submitted pictures of some of my Air Jordan XVIII collection to share with everyone. You can also see them on the official Facebook page here as well.
