Jordan Brand XX8 Days Of Flight: Air Jordan 2011

As the final week in the Jordan XX8 Days of Flight nears its end, we look back at the Air Jordan 2011.
The Air Jordan 2011 was the twenty-sixth signature Air Jordan sneaker. Originally released in you guessed it, 2011. Three versions were released, the Air Jordan 2011, the Air Jordan 2011 Q-Flight and, the Air Jordan 2011 A Flight. This was also the first signature Air Jordan (not including the Jordan Alpha 1) to be customizable on NIKEiD. Here is what Jordan Brand had to say about the Air Jordan 2011:

"The Air Jordan 2011 pays tribute to MJ’s versatility by incorporating the first interchangeable midsole system, letting players “choose their flight”. A mesh booty and dynamic lacing system give the 2011s a custom fit. Go Quick or Explosive in your ‘2011s’ on Day 26 of XX8 Days Of Flight."

No Air Jordan 2011s have been retroed to date. However, plenty of sample and promo pairs have been made. None have been available to the public but it has been nice to see new colorways of one of the most popular Air Jordan's to date. There are no Air Jordan 2011 Retro's scheduled to be released anytime soon, especially since it has only been two years since they originally released. If that changes, I will be sure to let everyone know.

For now, enjoy the images below of this sample black and volt green colorway of the Air Jordan 2011 made exclusively to celebrate the Jordan XX8 Days Of Flight Collection. Be sure to check out my Twitter @ajordanxi and Instagram @ajordanxi as I have submitted pictures of some of my Air Jordan 2011 collection to share with everyone. You can also see them on the official Facebook page here as well.
