Jordan Brand XX8 Days Of Flight: Air Jordan XXI

As week three of the Jordan XX8 Days Of Flight comes to a close, we take a look back at the Air Jordan XXI.
The Air Jordan XXI was originally released in 2006. With it came two colorways that feature an all-Italian suede upper (which happen to be my two favorite colorways). The twenty-first Air Jordan signature shoe, it was released in three versions, a high, a low and a PE version. The PE version was equivalent to the Plus and .5 versions found on prior models. Here is what Jordan Brand had to say about the Air Jordan XXI:

"An innovative cushioning system in the Air Jordan XX1 lets players decide between Zoom and Encapsulated Air. A seamless bootie and lower-foot air grills deliver comfort, while a carbon fiber shank plate provides lightweight support. Break out your ‘twenty-ones’ for Day 21 of XX8 Days Of Flight."

To date, only one Air Jordan 21 Retro has been released. That was in 2008 as a part of the Jordan 21/2 Collezione "Countdown" Pack. It has now been seven years since the Air Jordan XXI was originally released. As of right now, there are no plans for an Air Jordan 21 Retro release in the near future. However, if that changes I will be sure to let everyone know. For now, stay tuned to the 2013 Release Dates section for the most current and up to date Jordan Brand release information for the year.

For now, enjoy the images below of this sample black and volt green colorway of the Air Jordan XXI made exclusively to celebrate the Jordan XX8 Days Of Flight Collection. Be sure to check out my Twitter @ajordanxi and Instagram @ajordanxi as I have submitted pictures of some of my Air Jordan XXI collection to share with everyone. You can also see them on the official Facebook page here as well.
