Nike Barkley Posite Max "Rayguns" February 2013

The Nike Barkley Posite Max will be making its debut in February. Kicking things off will be this "Rayguns" inspired colorway.
For those who do not remember, Nike launched a campaign ad in 2002 featuring a series of commercials featuring Nike sponsored basketball players as alter egos for the Roswell Rayguns basketball team. The likes of Vince Carter, Jermaine O'Neal and Paul Pierce were just a few players a part of this group. The response was very positive and even spawned a couple of Nike Dunk SB releases inspired by the faux team in 2005. Fast forward to 2013, the inspiration still lives on. This time in the form of the Nike Barkley Posite Max.

Featuring a black-based 3M reflective upper with a unique crackle style print. Red and purple accents along with a glow-in-the-dark outsole and an alien logo on the tongue complete this shoe. This will be the first colorway of the Nike Barkley Posite Max set to release. Made to commemorate the 2013 NBA All-Star festivities which take place in Houston, Texas. These will be a very limited release in February available at select Nike accounts. As of now, no official release date or information is available other than the fact they will be releasing sometime around NBA All-Star weekend.

Enjoy this first look at the "Rayguns" Nike Barkley Posite Max below. As soon as I receive more information on this release I will be sure to let everyone know.
